Nepenthes Los Angeles x H3LM Supplies x Mike Reesé — Opening Reception

The collaborative installation “Full Time Human” by H3LM Supplies, Mike Reesé, and Nepenthes Los Angeles opened on May 23, 2026 at the Nepenthes Los Angeles flagship store. The installation will remain on view for approximately two months.

Presented alongside a limited collaborative collection, the project transforms the retail environment through original artwork, sculptural interventions, and interactive elements developed specifically for the space. The installation explores themes of identity, emotional presence, and humanity in an era of accelerating technology, creating a physical environment that encourages participation, reflection, and discovery.

The accompanying collection translates these ideas into wearable pieces featuring original artwork and messaging developed as an extension of the installation. The collection is now available through the H3LM Supplies web store:

The opening reception brought together friends, artists, surfers, designers, and members of the broader Los Angeles and Southern California creative community, marking the beginning of the installation's residency within the store.
The evening also included a surfboard raffle, with Martin selected as the winner of a H3LM Supplies 7'0" Opener Fish surfboard.
