HELM boards start as true glassed surfboards, then get upgraded with modern traction + hybrid construction for cleaner sessions, added durability, and effortless performance.

Shaped by master builder and former professional surfer Clyde Beatty Jr., each board begins with a high-quality EPS core + wood stringer, then is vacuum-bag laminated with fiberglass + epoxy for strength, flex, and lightweight response. The deck and rails are wrapped in a soft, rubber-like traction layer for wax-free grip, a cleaner board, and added protection—without sacrificing speed or feel.

Materials

• Custom EPS foam core

• Fiberglass + custom epoxy resin

• Double 6oz glass schedule (deck + bottom)

• Wood stringer (1/8” under 7’0, 1/4” 7’0+)

• EVA deck + rail wrap (rubber-like traction, UV resistant)

• FCS II fin boxes (compatible with FCS II + FCS 2-tab fins)
