Inspired by Skip Frye’s Nozzle and the legacy of San Diego shapers who evolved the Long Fish design, the PATHFINDER is our modern interpretation of a timeless concept first pioneered by Steve Lis.
Our aim was to create a Long Fish that captures the design’s hallmark glide and speed, while integrating Morey Gyenes’s performance knowledge & expertise—developed over years of shaping alternative crafts for everyday surfers and contest-winning boards for top-tier pros, both under his own label and as a ghost shaper for renowned brands.
By blending the original concept with modern performance elements, the PATHFINDER is our expression of what's possible in speed, flow, and dynamic maneuverability—a balanced, contemporary take on a uniquely classic shape.
